About Us
We've told compelling stories for many clients. Our client list includes BluePearl Veterinary Partners, Hillsborough County Schools, The New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC Universal, Jesuit High School, the Kalish Visual Editing Workshop, Rhythm Running, Christian Science Monitor, Bloomin’ Brands, SSL Store, InnerStrength Training, Moffitt Cancer Center, SPCA Tampa Bay, and Visit Florida.
Chris believes everyone has a story worth telling. He is an ever-curious person always asking questions and trying to get to the root of what makes people tick. He uses his curiosity to capture compelling moments for clients and to inspire people to do good in their community.
With more than 17 years of experience in visual storytelling, Chris worked as a photojournalist for the Tampa Bay Times (formerly the St. Petersburg Times) for nearly 12 years. During his time there, he earned a first place award in the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA’s) 2013 Best of Photojournalism in the news video division, placing ahead of CNN. He was twice named runner up Region Photographer of the Year and in 2015, he was a part of a team awarded a regional Emmy for a video project about high school football in Pahokee, FL.
Chris’ proudest accomplishments are when his work has benefit people in his community. Stories he photographed inspired readers to rally around a homeless teenager and an anonymous donor to fund a Dreamer’s college education.
Carrie Pratt was born a helper. When she was a teenager she helped her dad take in foster children on his own. She used that to dive into photojournalism and still carries those ethics with her to this day. Combine that with her love of everything visual, and she has found her professional calling: helping organizations tell their story about how they make their community better. Carrie has 18 years of experience in the photography and video storytelling business and prides herself on being delivering exceptional work to clients.
As a former photojournalist at a major newspaper in Florida, she learned how compelling visual stories can make a difference. Besides working at a newspaper, Carrie's background has been serving as the multi-platform news advisor for the College Heights Herald at Western Kentucky University. Prior to her current job, she was a senior video editor at the Tampa Bay Times where she earned many national awards and pushed herself and the photographers she worked with to be better at their storytelling.
