Sarah and Joey | Daufuskie Island Wedding

Last month I had the honor of traveling with my family down to Savannah, Georgia, to catch a ferry to Daufuskie Island, South Carolina, to photograph Sarah and Joey's special weekend, including their amazing wedding ceremony and reception.Sarah and Joey's wedding was everything that one would hope a destination wedding to be. It was intimate and sweet, beautiful and loving. They were surrounded by their kind and giving friends and family. The ceremony itself was in this quaint church called the First Union African Baptist Church. During the wedding ceremony their pastor who traveled from Lexington led everyone in song. As a surprise to everyone in the church, that song was I've been loving you too long.The reception at Bloody Point was so beautiful. There were touches of Sarah and Joey everywhere, from the lights in the trees, to the cupcake tower and yummy food.What an truly memorable wedding weekend. While Sarah and Joey's adventures have just begun, they'll always know that their wedding was an almost magical experience.
