Searching the light (an ode to instagram)

While searching for poems on light I found this beautiful poem.

I Search the Light
I search the lightPlease tell me someoneWhere it can be foundThe light that make me feelIn the heaven and can heelMy soul wounds that have painThe light that enlighten meWith spiritual depth and peaceOf mind soul and inner feelThe light that reach the darkenWorld of ignorance and crueltiesTo make the world a bunch of flowersWith untouched beauty and fragranceI search the lightTo enlighten the days of peaceI search the light the true lightPlease tell me someone who can see

By Abdul SattarI shot these photos while on vacation up in Nags Head, North Carolina, a few weeks ago. I put down my big girl cameras for most of the week and just played around with my iPhone. It was fun to just play with shapes, textures, and light. Using my iPhone camera allows me to think and see differently. I love it. It's sometimes hard for me to put down my other cameras but this time it was worth it.Btw, my Instagram handler is carriepratt. Follow me there!
