Miles turns 1!

                                         Today is our little firecracker's birthday. It's been quite an amazing year filled with joy, love, and diapers. The old cliche' is so true: You feel like your heart is out of your body. There are other things I've noticed about parenthood that I'm happy to share: the sleep part really does get better. Poopie diapers aren't all that bad. Everything is changing so rapidly. If they do one thing one way, they'll change and grow into a new pattern very soon. One of the harder parts is there's a lot of guilt about everything including leaving him, working, and then not spending enough time with anyone else. It's also much harder to get things done when he's awake. On a positive note, although your life changes immensely, you can still do things you did before, just altered. You just learn to love more and adapt to a new lifestyle. It's wonderful!To our friends and family who have supported us throughout the year, thank you!
