Honoring a Legacy | Fernandina Beach

I recently went to Fernandina Beach in Florida to photograph a ceremony for the matriarch of a special family, Mema. It was such a lovely ceremony and all of her children and their families were there with her husband to say goodbye. They released butterflies and poured a little bit of her ashes on the beach where she loved to be from her childhood to her adulthood. Such a lovely way to honor her legacy.
